You record about 30 seconds of clear speech inside the app. GiftSong's AI analyzes the timbre, pitch, and cadence of your voice to build a personal voice model. The model is used to sing AI-generated lyrics. Your voice sample is encrypted, never used to train shared models, and you can delete it anytime.

No. GiftSong only allows voice cloning from a live recording made inside the app — uploaded audio files are not supported. This is a deliberate design choice to protect against misuse. And the magic of GiftSong is sending your own voice, which feels more personal than a clone anyway.

Most songs are ready in 2–3 minutes from the moment you tap Generate. Complex scenes or longer lyrics may take up to 5 minutes. You'll get an iOS push notification when your song is ready.

Yes. Every song gets a public share link on giftsong.net/gift/{id}. Recipients open it in any browser — iPhone, Android, desktop — and play instantly. No app install, no account, no signup.

English, Spanish (Spain & Mexico), French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch — for both app UI and song lyric generation. Your cloned voice can sing lyrics in any supported language regardless of what language you spoke during the voice sample.

Yes. Your voice sample is encrypted at rest. It is never used to train global or shared AI models — it only generates your personal songs. You can delete your voice model and all associated songs anytime from Settings. See our Trust & Ethics page for full details.

Creation requires iPhone or iPad with iOS 16.0 or later. Recipients can play shared songs on any device with a modern browser — iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Chromebook — because share pages are standard web pages.

Yes. After writing your message, GiftSong generates draft lyrics. You can review and edit them line-by-line before tapping Generate. The final song is sung using your approved lyrics.

20 scene templates across four categories: Love & Relationships (love note, anniversary, apology, Valentine's sweet, Valentine's flirty), Family & Daily (baby lullaby, good morning, good night, family greeting, cheer up, friendship), Holidays (birthday, Christmas, spring greeting, Thanksgiving, New Year, wedding, congratulations), and Fun & Social (inside joke, playful tease).

Yes. Include multiple names, shared memories, and group messages in your lyrics. For weddings and milestone birthdays, the Wedding and Birthday scenes are optimized to handle multi-person tributes. Each person you mention gets woven into the song naturally.

Yes. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's standard In-App Purchase system. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. No questions asked.
